COMPETEN-SEA project is a Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Commission. The project enables the best South-East Asian Universities to develop a delivery method for accessible, effective yet flexible education and skill development in the remote, marginalised and underprivileged communities. The objectives of this 3-day workshop are to facilitate educators and technical staff to design, develop and deliver high quality MOOCs using EdX platform.

NOTE: Participants are expected to bring their own laptop to take part in the hands-on session. Computers will not be provided. Network connectivity will be made available to all participants without charge.

The training will be conducted by a panel of experts from the project’s European-partner institutions such as Open Universiteit in the Netherlands (OUNL), University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain (UC3M) and Universität des Saarlandes, Germany (USAAR).
