Competen-SEA represented at EARLI 2019

Between 12-16 August 2019, RWTH Aachen hosted the EARLI conference, a biennial event gathering academics, researchers and other interested parties in research on learning and instruction.

The COMPETEN-SEA Consortium was represented by Prof. Armin Weinberger who showcased several outcomes of the project in a poster session on technology-enhanced learning. The poster entitled “The Convergence in co-design: Development and Effects of a Graphical Educational Modelling Language” introduced the graphical educational modelling language used in the MOOC co-design workshops which took place last year with various stakeholders on-site. The main purpose of the modelling language is to facilitate communication between pedagogues and computer scientists in order to create effective MOOC designs tailored to their intended target groups.
