Description Known for her intricately cut paper collages of flowers, Mary Delany was a supreme artist who began her art form in her early seventies in the 1700’s. Her handmade paper mosaics are often mistaken for paintings. Magnolia detail measures 11″ x 13.5″ on 14, 16, or 18 mesh mono deluxe needlepoint canvas. The writing on the bottom right will be on the canvas you receive and you can either stitch that area as it is or stitch over it entirely with a black or dark green background color. We are partial to silk threads for this canvas, and will be happy to select and add appropriate silk or merino wool colors to help complete.
